Testimonials

The Journey has been great. Ever since I left the high school youth group I was looking for something to do with Christians my age. Then Jim and Lisa came to our church and what they started was exactly what I was looking for. I have met new people, and learned more about the Bible. It is a very friendly atmosphere. It is not all about meeting new people or making new friends though. That’s all good, but our main goal is to learn and grow as Christians, and I feel that this place is a great place to do that. ~Tim

If you have a hunger for God’s Word, this is the place for you! The fellowship and the in depth biblical study is exceptional. I especially get a lot out of Pastor Jim’s teaching. The teaching is great because
it helps me to understand what I wouldn’t understand on my own. I would have to say it helps my walk and encourages me to see my fellow peers devoted to the Word of God. Fellowship afterwards is a joy! You should come out and fellowship with us on Friday nights! How can you miss great company, laughter, and encouragement in your walk with the Lord? Don’t miss out on the Journey. ~Alina

I really enjoy digging into the scriptures and finding out the context of each of the passages. I appreciate the warm and welcoming atmosphere that Jim and Lisa have created in their home. I am especially glad to meet and have friendships with people my own age that want to strengthen their relationship with God and put Him first in their lives. ~Jacob C.

I have been so blessed by the Journey. The solid biblical teaching and Friday night fellowship has been the calm in the midst of a storm for me this summer, and I am extremely grateful for the encouragement and prayers that go along with being part of a small group.

My circle of friends grows each week as I meet new people and get to know people from my own church family who were strangers to me before! Praise God for giving us a community of believers to gather with! ~Chelsea

The Journey has been an amazing addition to my life. The focus on growing together through faith and fellowship has brought together many new friends. Pastor Jim and Lisa have been more than amazing in opening their home and making it everyone’s, and are a great example in how to live our Christian lives to the fullest.

If you aren’t in the Journey, you are seriously missing out on a great growth experience. Come and join us, make new friends and grow in Christ ~Logan

"Has it ever occurred to you that one hundred pianos all tuned to the same fork are automatically tuned to each other? They are of one accord by being tuned, not to each other, but to another standard to which each one must individually bow. So one hundred worshippers meeting together, each one looking away to Christ, are in heart nearer to each other than they could possibly be were they to become ‘unity’ conscious and turn their eyes away from God to strive for closer fellowship. Social religion is perfected when private religion is purified. The body becomes stronger as its members become healthier. The whole church of God gains when the members that compose it begin to seek a better and a higher life."
