Missions

div

Perhaps more that anything else, God is calling us to be a people whose purpose and passion is the supremacy of God in everything. If that is even close to being true, we recognize for most, God is not seen as supreme. Therefore, our mission is to do what we can to change that perspective.

God is gathering a people to Himself who will be His joyful worshippers. He is gathering them from every people and tribe and nation and tongue that they might bring Him glory as they trust Him for eternal life and live in gratitude to Him for that precious gift.

Our mission is all about God and His supremacy. But in order for the nations to "be glad and sing for joy" they must hear and respond to the good news. Our mission is to make our Lord known through the preaching of His Word, trusting the Holy Spirit to change lives, so that His name is honored above all and His supremacy in everything is acknowledged.

The duty of every believer is to make Him known. But for the world to know this great God, some must be sent to tell the good news of redemption through the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. On this site are some choice servants whom we love and trust who have been sent to preach the good news that the nations might "be glad and sing for joy."

We have the privilege and the wonderful responsibility to pray for and encourage these servants of the Lord. We request that you make it a regular practice to pray for them and to write them. Our aim is not to exalt the missionary, but to exalt God and His mission. Each of us will have a different engagement in the cause of missions. We may go or we may send. In either case, we are to "do all to the glory of God" for the advancement of His Kingdom with a view to its consummation which will embrace every tribe and tongue and nation. May God increase our passion for Him that we might honor His passion for His purpose.
